Congratulations to the following 18 students who have been selected for the final 2 trials on Saturday 28^th May at Aubin Grove and Saturday 4^th June at Butlers Reserve.

This squad represents the 18 players from which the final 14 squad will be selected and the 4 players who will be training on subject to whether we compete in the National Championships – venue yet to be advised.

A reminder to all team members that the next scheduled training session will be at Aubin Grove from 16:00 to 17:30 on 28^th May 2022.

Players are asked to attend the following two (2) Trials.

Trial 1 – Butlers Reserve, Corbett St, Scarborough 1pm – 2pm
Trial 2 – Aubin Grove Rec Centre, Camden Blvd, Aubin Grove 1pm – 2pm

The final squad (13 or 14 players) will be selected from these 2 trials and announced after the second trial.
Train-on places will be offered to players should a selected player become unavailable due to injury or illness.

Congratulations to the following athletes  who have been selected in the 2022 SSWA 18s Boys Basketball Team.

Thank you to all those who have participated in the last 3 weeks of trials. The selection process was made difficult due to the high level of play throughout all the trials.

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected to continue through to trial 4 for the 12 Years & Under Girls Hockey Team. Due to the continuing interruptions with Covid-19 we have elected to move into a 4^th trial to enable all those effected an equal opportunity.

Selected athletes are required to attend Melville turf at 6:00am on Sunday 22^nd May.

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected in the State Schoolboys 12 Years & Under State team.

Boys listed as ‘Train-ons’ are invited to continue to attend training with the main squad.  For all intents and purposes they are part of the squad right up until the week before the team travels to the National Championship.

The first training session will be at Robinson Reserve, 25 Royal St in Tuart Hill on Monday 23^rd May.  Training will start at 4.00PM.  Any player not able to attend training should let Tour Leader, Alex McLennan, know as soon as possible prior to that training session.

After our training session on Monday 23^rd May we will be having our Uniform Fitting and Parent Information Meeting at Tuart College (105 Banksia St Tuart Hill).  At least one parent must be in attendance as this meeting outlines all information relating to being selected and it’s an opportunity to ask questions.  Parents of Train-ons are asked to also attend in the event of their son having to attend the tour as an injury replacement.  The uniform fitting and parent meeting should last approximately 60 – 90 minutes.
