Background
This competition is open to all Government and Non-Government Schools.
The Year 7/8 and Yr 9/10 Carnivals are all one day round robin events.Â
 Teams are single gender.
 Winners will be announced on the day.
Cost
$150 per team for one day carnival round robin (based on 6 teams)
SSWA will invoice schools. Does not include pool entry.
A late withdrawal (within 2 weeks of the event) fee of up to 100% may be charged by SSWA

HBF Stadium diving and water polo pools
First Aid
Schools should bring their own first aid kits. Ice is provided.

YEAR 9/10 BOYS & GIRLS COMPETITIONS
Date & Time
Boys: Wednesday 20 Sep 2023 (Term 3Â Week 10)Â Â Â Â Â Â 9.00am – 2.30pm
Girls: Thursday 21 Sept 2023 (Term 3 Week 10)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 9.00am – 2.30pm
Venue
HBF Stadium pools, 100 Stephenson Ave Mt Claremont
Format
The competition will be conducted as a round robin day-carnival. The winning team in each division will receive a small shield on the day of the competition.
Rules as per FINA rules.
Any changes to the rules will be announced at the Coordinator’s briefing.
FixturesÂ
Fixtures will be sent to schools on Monday 19 September
Schools should ensure they are at the venue by 9.00am for the Coordinator’s briefing. Presentations will be held between 2.00 – 2.30pm.
Referees
One referee will be provided per game. Schools will be rostered to do duty and must each provide a scorer for their games.
