INTERSTATE GOLF 18s

School Sport WA team officials are planning to provide State Team Experiences with selected state teams within state borders.

This is in response to the School Sport Australia Championships not proceeding in 2021. 

Open trials will be held for all teams, with regular selections occurring throughout trials and training.

Details of State Team Experiences will be provided to selected state team members at their Parent Information session.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding COVID-19 the SSA calendar is subject to change. The participation of individual States and Territories is subject to the approval of that Education Department from the State or Territory

School Sport Australia will take the latest advice regarding the running of interstate events in 2021 and will update information at the end of Feb 2021.

Please be advised that if selected:

The cost of a HOME CHAMPIONSHIP will be approximately $800 – $1500 depending on the accommodation option.

The cost of an AWAY CHAMPIONSHIP will be between $2000 – $2700 dependent on venue and time on tour.

Selections are based on handicaps and performances in 2021. Students will be invited to nominate on this page but may also nominate independently.

Interstate representatives must:

Be a full time student at a recognised DoE educational institution.

Be 18 years of age or under as at 31 December in the year of competition.

Must have a recognised Golf Handicap and play regularly in recognised competitions.
