2027 dates and venues – Come and try athletics
The SSWA multisport days provide students with opportunities to explore their interests
in a variety of sports and physical activities that are modified and adapted to support
individual needs.
Collaboration with State Sporting Organisations is fundamental to these events, where
fun, inclusive, supportive and engaging activities will be delivered to build both
confidence and capacity in sport.
Students will experience a variety of modified games, skill sessions and practice drills
throughout the day – all played in a non-competitive format.
Multisport days also help teachers build skills in specific sports, ask questions, and
learn practical ways to adapt teaching and learning environments so sport and Physical
Education are accessible to all students.
