Eligibility: The Championships are open to all West Australian students whether or not they are members of an affiliated club. To be eligible for selection students must:

1.  Be a full time student at a secondary school.

2.  Be under the age of 16 as at 31 December

3.  Have permission of the school Principal to nominate for the trials.

Each student nominating must submit the online nomination form and present the State Trials Information Sheet to the school Principal and parent/guardian to obtain the relevant permissions.
