Champion Schools Competition

The ‘Smarter than Smoking’ Cup is SSWA/ WA Rugby League’s Premier Secondary Schools competition. 2008 divisions presented will be  – Year 10 (Yrs 8 - 10 ) and Open (Yrs 11, 12). 

Competitions will be played after-school (3.45pm) at the local rugby league ground. Schools will play a minimum of 3 Round Robin games within their district. District winners will progress to the finals format. 

The local junior rugby league clubs have made a commitment to supply grounds, jerseys and may also provide extra players from local clubs to supplement school teams.

Tuesday afternoons  - Yr 10 (commencing week 5 Term 2)

Thursday afternoons – Open (commencing week 2 Term 2)
Finals:

Open – Thursday 5 June

Year 10 – Tuesday 24 June

Venue: Local Grounds
Format of Competition: District Round-Robin then Finals
